Granulated Activated Carbon (GAC) filters provide a fast flow alternative when carbon technology is needed. Micron ratings for GAC are considered estimates due to the channeling that occurs within GAC, unless paired with a filtering media, such as PP combinations in order to confirm a micron rating.
